Commercial & Industrial Construction

Miller Contracting understands the importance of the planning phase of your warehouse or commercial building project. Working out the details first will ensure smoother job-site execution, which means faster occupancy, fewer problems and costs remaining within budget. We will sit down with you to discuss the type of facility you need to satisfy your goals. If at all possible we try to design our projects so that the office portion of the building is on grade while the warehouse portion is "dock high".

When the project is an addition or renovation to an existing building, close coordination and cooperation are required. Miller Contracting works with you to keep your business running during the construction process. Your work can continue while we do ours.

STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION

STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES FOR IDI:

Our first project for this owner was a 15,300 square feet office and warehouse that utilized a sanitary sewer pump station. Two years after finishing the first building they needed a larger one so we designed and built a 25,400 square feet building with offices on grade and dock high warehouse.

OFFICES AND WAREHOUSE CONSTRUCTION

OFFICES AND MANUFACTURING FOR WEB PARTNERS:

This 13,500 square feet office and warehouse also utilized on grade offices with a dock high warehouse. Building has masonry walls with a steel building roof. Because it shares a site with a similar building, its design was such that both buildings complement each other.

WAREHOUSES AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION

OFFICE AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES AT MARKET CENTER:

A four building complex in Tampa completed in phases over a three year period. Large oak trees in the center of the site were retained to make a traffic island and to break up the large expanse of pavement. We constructed a storm sewer extension in the road right of way to connect to the municipal system allowing a positive drainage outfall that reduced the size of the pond substantially, increasing the size of the buildings. The project also required a sanitary sewer pump station and connection to the municipal sewer system.

VASQUEZ IRON WORKS:

A 3,500 square feet welding shop which was located in a Tampa area requiring architectural features softening the warehouse look. These requirements were met in a cost effective way by adding a stucco wainscot, windows and contrasting colored wall panels.

MANUFACTURING, DISTRIBUTION AND STORAGE FACILITY CONSTRUCTION

MANUFACTURING, DISTRIBUTION AND STORAGE FACILITY FOR GARDNER ASPHALT:

This 155 feet clear span building met the customer's requirement of no interior columns. Since this 40,000 square feet building replaced one that had been destroyed by fire the project was designed, permitted and built in 4 months.
